Our Doctors
Ingrid Cruse, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Cruse obtained her Bachelors from the University of Rochester and her Medical Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Rochester and is Board Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Cruse is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and a Clinical Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine. Dr. Cruse is especially interested in promoting breast feeding, adolescent health, and in helping all families develop healthy habits. She teaches residents from the UMass Pediatric Residency Program and is the School Physician for the Leominster Parochial Schools.

Dr. Cruse lives in Lunenburg and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities such as cycling, boating and cross country skiing with her husband and three daughters. She also enjoys playing piano and nurturing her flower and vegetable gardens.

Sejal Daga, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Daga obtained her Bachelors from Cornell University and her Medical Degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College. She completed her residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and is board certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Daga is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and a member of the AOA Medical Honor Society.​ ​Dr. Daga particularly enjoys treating families as a unit. She enjoys seeing the growth and development of a child in and of themselves, but also in the backdrop of their surroundings.  She has special interests in helping parents with positive parenting: especially during toddlerhood and adolescence. Dr. Daga also enjoys teaching and continuing to learn about alternative medicine and how it can be used in conjuction with western medicine. She is fluent in Spanish, Hindi and Gjuarati.

Dr.Daga lives in Holden with her husband and three daughters. She treasures her time to be a kid with her girls. She enjoys listening to music and singing and dancing [in the privacy of her home.
Robert Gakwaya, M.D.
Dr Gakwaya obtained his Bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Massachusetts Boston and an his Medical Degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School where he was a member of the Gold Humanism Honor society. He is continuing his residency in pediatrics training at UMass and will providing primary care at our office during his residency.
 

Dr Gakwaya was born and raised in Butare, a small town in the South of Rwanda (East Africa). He currently resides in Holden, Ma with his young family. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing and watching soccer and basketball. Dr Gakwaya has a special interest in injury prevention in and mentorship of underrepresented minorities in medicine. He is fluent in French, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi and conversational in Swahili.


Theresa Gingras Callahan, M.D.​, F.A.A.P.
Dr. Callahan obtained her Bachelors from Mount Holyoke College and her Medical Degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Rochester (with Dr. Cruse!) and was chief resident there. Dr. Callahan is Board Certified in Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and a Clinical Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She is the director of the Reach Out and Read Program in our office and is always looking for new and used book donations (a book drive is an excellent Eagle Scout or National Honor Society project!).

Dr. Callahan lives in Princeton with her family. She loves to quilt - her family thinks she should join 'Quilters Anonymous' (just look at the waiting room walls!). Dr. Callahan also loves to read in bed with a flash light. And, everyone in the office affectionately calls her 'The Fruit and Vegetable Police.'
Michael J. Lyons, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Lyons obtained his Bachelors degree from the College of the Holy Cross and his Medical Degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He completed his residency at the University of Masachusetts Medical Center and is Board Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Lyons is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and Clinical Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine. He is an Alumni Representative of the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Chief of Pediatrics and President of the Medical Staff at HealthAlliance Hospital​. Dr. Lyons has a special interest in pulmonology and sports medicine and serves as school physician for the Town of Lunenburg.

​Dr. Lyons grew up in Lowell, MA and lives in Sterling with his wife and three children. He enjoys playing sports as well as coaching and watching his children’s athletic teams. He also enjoys traveling with his family.
Bruce J. Man, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Man retired in January of 2021 after many years of caring for patients in North Worcester County. He will be greatly missed by his colleagues and patients and we wish him a healthy, happy retirement.  We look forward to running into Dr. Man hiking local trails together with his wife, children, grandchildren and dogs.
Fernando Catalina, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Catalina obtained his Bachelors from Saint Anselm College and his Medical Degree and a Ph.D. in immunology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He completed his residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and is Board Certified in Pediatrics. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and Clinical Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine. Dr. Catalina serves on the Board of Trustees of Central New England HealthAlliance and on the board of UMASS Memorial Hospitals, Inc. He has a special interest in allergy and immunology and is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Catalina lives with his wife and children in Harvard. He enjoys family time, including biking and hiking on local trails. Dr. Catalina is an avid reader and is always looking for good book suggestions.

Our Residents
Alison Casserly, M.D., Ph.D.
​Dr. Casserly obtained her Bachelors at the College of the Holy Cross and an M.D./Ph.D. at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She is continuing her residency training in pediatrics at her home institution of UMass and will be providing primary care at our office during her 3 years of residency. Dr. Casserly completed her dissertation research investigating the molecular mechanisms and neurocircuitry underlying nicotine withdrawal, and is excited to carry her interests into her clinical practice of pediatrics, helping today's youth make choices and maintain habits that will promote life-long health. 

Dr. Casserly grew up in Pepperell, MA and currently lives in Hudson, MA with her husband and 3 year old son. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, binge-watching the Office, and taking on endless crafts and home projects.
Charles J. Myers, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Myers obtained his Bachelors degree from Cornell University and his Medical Degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He completed his residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and is Board Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Myers is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and Clinical Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine. Dr. Myers enjoys participating in the development and maintenance of a healthy family unit. He serves as school physician for the City of Leominster
